Under the Moving Expenses Committee Rules, the Moving Expenses Committee is a State agency which can act for the State at all times. The Moving Expenses Committee will pay the moving expenses of an employee before or after the employee leaves State and/or before a period of service has ended. This amount is to be paid to the Moving Expenses Committee. When necessary for any employee after the employee has left State of South Carolina, there are special rules that may apply. The Committee shall make this payment in accordance with the rules of the State agency governing the payment of moving expenses and payment of employee's moving expenses.
